Hi everyone, and sorry I’m a bit late in doing a message in this area. My name’s Tom (he/him, based in the UK) and I’m pretty much entirely new to social media type stuff in general (I know, I know …) so you probably won’t have seen me anywhere before. But I’m a long-time Xeno fan, especially of the early games and I recently got a tip that there was now an active forum in this space again - so I thought I’d give it a shot. I’m also interested in anime from that same kind of era, especially Evangelion … which is actually what got me on to Xenogears in the very first place. I just love that there seems to have been this period in the late 90s of really extreme creativity and ambition for exploring the boundaries of what media like videogames / serial TV shows could “be about” and seek to communicate. In what probably then comes as a very unsurprising addition, I’m also more recently a big fan of the Yoko Taro games series too. Anyhow, this is really mainly to say that I very much hope that everyone else here is doing OK in these strange times! Greetings, Tom
