Yeah, Edbart and Elvira don’t even have official designs since they are barely named (I’m not even sure Elvira’s name is dropped in the game itself?), so it’s not really helping 
I might redraw them someday, this one isn’t very good, I just wanted to draw them but not enough to take the time to draw them properly while having so many WIPs. I want to draw Bart’s and Sigurd’s moms someday too.
One of my actual WIPs was a redraw of Shion’s EP3 concept art:
I slightly modified the outfit (this crotch window was stupid), kept her EP3 hairstyle and gave her back her glasses (I was so disappointed when she lost them).

Who Lives, Who Dies, Who Tells Your Story

4 years since I last posted here… And yet I haven’t stopped drawing Xeno art in these 4 years. What if we took a little trip down memory lane to see what happened in these 4 years? To cringe a little at what I used to draw and be proud of my improvement throughout these years.
2021
Let’s catch back where we stopped, the second half of 2021. My transition from Xenosaga obsession to Malos and Xenoblade 2 obsession kept going (ft. a parallel obsession for the cartoon Thunderbirds Are Go which is kinda Malos related since I fell into it because his English Voice actor voices a few characters there, but this is not the place for these fanarts).
Also an Alternate Universe Haze where she becomes a Flesh-Eater instead of Jin, and joins an Amalthus-awakened Mythra instead of Malos:

In November, away from my usual watercolors, I decided to pick up digital art again.
At some point I did miss Xenosaga enough to add a Lactis in the middle of this Malos and Xenoblade 2 invasion
But late 2021 is also when a Xenoblade 2 concept I’ve been playing with for months finally comes to life: Logos, based on the hidden lore from the XC2 Siren model kit pamphlet that a trio of artificial intelligences existed before Mythra, Pyra and Malos. We knew Pneuma’s appearance from XC2, but we never got a glimpse of what Logos could have looked like… Well, my imagination took it from there.
And that’s where 2021 ends. On to a new year!
2022
The New Year starts with a Tyrea that I still really like 3 years later. She’s such a beautiful woman.
2022 starts with a desire to draw characters from all over the series in alternate outfits.

For a few spring weeks I get obsessed with the idea of Malos and Tyrea teaming up and honestly I should bring this duo back.
Logos is still around and getting a more defined design:
And by June they’re joined by the first appearance of Ontos, the third of the trio. The AAA computer trio is now complete:
But 2022 is also the year of Xenoblade 3! Some ladies catch my eye in trailers, then in the game:
And then Xenoblade 3 makes me yearn for Xenogears and Xenosaga so I end up drawing for these games instead of the game I just played?
And then I fall back into Xenoblade 2, finish a Malos&Mythra piece started a year ago, and begin my Mikhail arc because I’ve been digging into his character arc and writing fanfics about him and he’s becoming more and more dear to me. This is also when I start writing post-XC2 fics focused on him, Malos, Logos and Pneuma that will help me cement Logos into his own character.
It takes me 2 more years to realise I drew Mikhail’s weapons wrong up here because they are wrong during half of the game and I picked the wrong ref pics. I want to redraw it someday, properly this time.
The fun part is that it didn’t even click when I drew these alt weapons (correctly) a few weeks later.
And that’s about it for 2022, I end the year with my mind into a bunch of Alternate Universes, and I will keep a fondness to them for the upcoming years, taking up writing a few fics when I’m not drawing.
2023
Early 2023 has me draw some uncommon characters…
…finish the last celebratory art of my Trinity Processor gang with Ontos in March (Pneuma and Logos were drawn in 2022 for their respective celebratory days)…
…but most of the year is highjacked by a guy I saw for 3 seconds at like 11pm and immediately got obsessed with. I didn’t even know his name. Today I can blame him as Matthew Vandham.
It did not get better after getting a name and a game about him btw.
But as I said, I was also getting in my Mikhail art, so I also drew some Mikhail!
…But then I wanted to draw both Mikhail and Matthew at the same time, some wires crossed, and I somehow ended up shipping the two. And I still do, which is rather impressive considering I tend to lose interest in ships pretty fast. I mostly drew them during 2024 but honestly at this point they’ve highjacked this post so I might as well shove a set here. Under spoiler so those uninterested in this ship can easily skip.
For some reason I also shipped Lanz x Zeon in 2023. I still like them but I didn’t stay as invested as mikmatt.
And I played Astral Chain in October and it’s the most Xenoblade not-Xenoblade game I’ve ever played so I drew a crossover.
Last but not least, I was commissioned to draw an Indoline Jin counterpart to the Flesh-Eater Haze I drew back in 2021:
