I probably already recommended it to you previously, but you (and anyone else interested) may enjoy Viridi, which lets you tend to a virtual succulent garden. It has relaxing music.

I’m currently playing ff7r and tales of zestiria on steam. The former is always what I look forward to, while the latter is what Kare told me. She also loves toz. I wonder if there are still people who like tales series here? I also want to try berseria later if I have enough time.
I recently played both the Sonic Adventure games for the first time. Took me a while to warm up to SA1 but I really liked it by the end. SA2 had a lot of level design I disliked, but the ambitious story and the character stuff in general (Knuckles & Rouge’s weird sexual tension, Shadow in general, Eggman being a real motherfucker) makes it hard for me to dislike it as a whole. The only Sonic games I’ve played that came after these are Mania and Generations which were both pretty good, but it’s a shame that a lot of the later 3D games in general seem to have lost what made the Adventure games interesting for me.
Now I’m playing Touhou Artificial Dream in Arcadia, a 2hu game that’s heavily inspired by Shin Megami Tensei 1 and 2. I’m loving it so far, probably having more fun with it than I have with an SMT game since the PS2 era.
I’ve been playing Phantasy Star Universe on the Clementine private server. It’s quite cozy. Also got me in the mood to go back and play through Phantasy Star 2 and 3, as I’ve only finished 1 and 4. Good sci-fi JRPGs are so rare.
Finished Phantasy Star 2. If you can get around the rough edges of the gameplay (typical old JRPG stuff) then the premise, characters and atmosphere are easily some of the best in the genre. Played the Phantasy Star 2 text adventures as well. I think this game just put Phantasy Star up there with Xenogears and Xenosaga for me.
I was playing Final Fantasy: Stranger of Paradise until for some reason it wanted to stop saving over steam. I was enjoying it though.
Crysis-3 and NIKKE : Goddess of Victory
Well, I got to Phantasy Star 3 expecting it to be one of those games that’s hated just because it tried to do something weird and different (ala Dragon Quarter) but nope, it’s just legitimately a bad game. Neat ideas, neat character designs, but both are completely wasted on it.
Started the Growlanser series, playing the first one with its PSP version. Very unique combat system, well written and likeable party members, and a lot of player choice (ie. skill point allocation and lots of dialogue options, both of which are rare for a JRPG). It feels like what I wanted (and didn’t get) from the Trails series.
Still playing through this. This game really has some excellent character writing, and some great romance/bromance options. In particular my boy Wallace, who kind of plays a similar role in the party’s dynamic to Ziggy in Xenosaga.
Started playing Phoenix Wright: Ace Attorney and it is so addicting. The game is so awesome.
I need to try the Phoenix Wright series. I first saw him in a Monster Hunter crossover and it seems like the series is gaining some good publicity recently with all the Switch ports.
Been playing Lumines Remastered lately and it’s been a great pickup. Casual puzzle that’s like a horizontal Tetris but cooler. The soundtrack is a bop too.

Played and finished Forbidden Solitaire! It’s a game-within-a-game about a game released in the 90s and later banned for mysterious reasons. The game within the game is gloriously cheesy, and mimics the art of computer games from that time period pretty well! At least in my book. I never played Solitaire before this game, and now I might try and play other games like it.

the overarching story was pretty good too, at least in my opinion. It is a haunted video game story, but that’s what I signed up for, and I liked it! Might not be everyone’s cup of tea.
I’m also playing Tomodachi Life: Livin’ the Dream! I have four islands. Three of which are on emulators so I can have fun importing images into the game. I think it’s a good successor to the 3DS game, but I do hope more stuff is on the way beyond seasonal decorations. I kinda wish Nintendo would start releasing their games on PC, because this is a good game to have running in the background to check up on every once in a while and see what your little guys are doing.
I’m slowly making a Xeno series island with almost all of the playable characters! Blades are gonna have to take a backseat, sadly, and I gotta figure out how to do Riki, Tora, and Chu-Chu. I’ll release the Mii files once I’m further along!
My other islands are mecha anime pilots (and Shion, Fei, Elma, my Cross, and Gaignun), Clusterfuck Island (I put whatever I want on there and laugh at the results), and Tornasaga Island after my fic.
Coming back to update this with a romhack I played and completed the main route of! FRLG.ips, a romhack of Pokemon FireRed! I would recommend watching the trailer and trying the hack out for yourself–it’s a creepypasta-esque ARG hack! My favorite! Plus there’s a new rock by the water!
Spoilers: this scratched an itch I needed scratched for a while. And I need more romhacks like this. I named my trainer DESS and my partner GASTER as a joke, but wow did that hit me in the face. I think I wanna do another playthrough on my 3DS and then try and transfer my buddy up as far as I can.
On the less romhack-y side, for some reason my brain has gotten me back into the Cook, Serve, Delicious! games. Mostly playing the second one since I don’t think I did much with that one compared to 1 and 3. Hard, but fun!
Deltarune Chapter 5! I need to finish it, but I keep getting distra–hey, someone in my steam family bought Raccoin: A Coin Pusher Roguelike! Let’s play that! (…that’s generally how my brain has been lately.)
