I like “Empire of Mor Ardain” best (although this English translation is very strange, and the pronunciation of this place name in the Chinese version of XBC2 is too far away)
It has a very “heavy industrial style”, with factories, power lines, and container cranes everywhere. At the same time, it also has a highly militarized management, with a curfew. Although it has a bad relationship with the Kingdom of Uraya (another weird name), it can be seen that the emperor and his sister are still trying to repair the relationship and stop the fighting. I am also very happy to see that in such an environment, most citizens still have their own leisure and entertainment methods, and the atmosphere is not so tense (there are entertainment facilities similar to hot springs.)
Of course, I still hate what they did to Gormott Province (how can it even have that name), I hate this colonization.

In fact, I feel that this country is very similar to the USSR in my imagination (combining what I have heard and seen some video materials and books).

Where else do you like? (I also like Kingdom of Tantal (don’t have this name anymore), I like that kind of icy place, I also like the character Zeke, and there is my favorite Blade - Herald (well, sorry KOSMOS, I still like you in XS))

I think all of them are very pretty (especially Uraya as you traverse through the inside of the Titan and see the outside light peeking in!), but my favorite is probably Tantal. Icy landscapes are my jam and the music is good, too. I love Mor Ardain for the music, but the factory section definitely ruined my enjoyment of it (but Mòrag finally joining the party does make it a little more fun :P). But compared to the Mechonis in XC1, Mor Ardain is definitely more interesting and fun to traverse.

Maybe not the best country politically, but I always loved chilling in Tantal.

I think if I wanted to live anywhere in Xenoblade 2 it would be Uraya or maybe Leftheria if I needed more sun. They are both so pretty! Uraya is really unique and beautiful where Leftheria reminds me of visiting the Outer Banks in the summertime.

I am unfortunately too cold-natured for Tantal. People in Indol would hate me lol. Argentium and Mor Ardain both seem fun if you are looking for a little more metropolis!
