We all know Yasunori Mitsuda and Yuki Kajiura did amazing work giving Xenosaga beautiful music to accompany the cutscenes, so what are your favorites?
I’m a huge fan of the instrumental arrangement of Maybe Tomorrow in the scene that follows the fight against Kevin and Shion. A great arrangement of a great song, and adds a lot of emotion to Allen’s standing up for himself and Shion learning to move on and start loving herself. I also love seeing Kevin’s abusive as get crapped on lmao.
I’m also partial to the arrangement of Sakuras theme that plays during the flashback with Jr and Sakura. Really bittersweet about how much they loved each other but it as never meant to be.
Xenosaga II opening theme is one of my favorites just because the scene where ES Asher descends onto miltia was just super cool in my eyes. Infact anything with XS2 leitmotif is amazing to me
The opening to Xenosaga II is one of the most cinematic opening I’ve seen in a game. Feels like it would be more at home in a movie than something you would see in a game.

I just like Nephilim because it makes me feel calm and a little lonely. And green sleeve is also a great piano piece, I heard it on Clayderman’s 10th anniversary tour.
