Absolutely, that’s really nicely put! So often positive relationship portrayal in games seems kind of tropey (e.g. classic romance, rivalry → bromance, they were siblings all along!, etc etc) but XS manages it so well with these three - and you are quite right to bring in Juli too - in that they are complex in their own rights and you can also kind of imagine how badly stuff might have gone for each of them emotionally if they hadn’t been interacting with the others. I also totally agree re Episode III - pretty much my only regret of that game, which is otherwise SOOOOO good is that there wasn’t a little bit more of these three’s relationship in it, even if only at the very end. Still though, its funny, when I’m replaying the game I often focus more on how much I enjoy Shion’s character, but between times its really always the Ziggy/Momo dynamic that comes to mind (and you just think “awwwww”).

I think the relationship between chaos and KOS-MOS(Maria) is my favorite. Or maybe the Abel and Nephilim?(Maybe that’s more appropriate in XG).But why at the end of the XS3 chaos went to the Lost Jerusalem with Nephilim not Maria???
