Febronia and Virgil always struck a chord with me, especially now that I’m older and understand their relationship better.
Feb and Virgil made me cry so bad. I always liked ShionxKOS-MOS way more than ShionxAllen Spoiler:

Same. Allen is a great guy, but I think it might be healthier for him to find someone more his speed. Shion’s always gonna put Kossy at #1, they have that spiritual connection.
Consider Yuriev/Wilhelm where each thinks they have the other trapped in an elaborate game of five-dimensional chess
Gaignun Kukai/Happiness–
I personally interpret Gaignun’s relationship with Shelley and Mary as platonic, tbh! And I ship Yuriev with dying a horrible painful death 
I’ve always thought of Shion x KOSMOS as being true soulmates.
My favorite crack ship is Ziggy x Mary, and I [semi-]jokingly like to think of Jin and Margulis as being bitter exes who are too thick headed to work out their feelings haha
i’ve always loved how momo and jr care about eachother and look out for each other in a very friendly sort of way especially with jr’s whole back story with sakura which i feel really emphasizes why he cares so much about momo
I feel like the Jr. and Sakura stuff are some of the best character moments outside of Ziggy in Xenosaga 2! I just wish it weren’t so sad 
KOS-MOS x Shion always hit home to me, they have such a sweet relationship that blooms slowly throughout the games. Seeing how KOS-MOS went from apathy in episode one to caring and even sacrifice for Shion in episode three was one of my favourite parts of the series.
In watching my roommate play through Xenosaga, I’ve somehow talked myself into Ziggy/Cherenkov being a good ship
This is bold and aesthetic. I approve.
Ziggy is patient and strong and would Cherenkov wouldn’t have to worry about hurting him and Ziggy could be reassuring during a panic attack.
Plus Cherenkov says “How I envy you” to MOMO after she gives Ziggy a tune up
Honestly I haven’t been able to stop thinking about this one since I saw it a couple weeks ago. It does come across as crack, but it just makes more and more sense as you think about it in different ways… Dangerous stuff.
My favorite couple’s gotta be chaos/KOS-MOS.
I remember back in the day these two were all anybody could talk about especially after game 3 dropped, now they’re treated like some kind of rare pair? Sad…

Hi, in a platonic sense (clearly) the Ziggy / Momo relationship is just so well done in the games themselves. On the romantic side, Shion / Allen has the great payoff at the end but I kind of think it could have been paced out better … Allen’s arc sort of goes from insipid, insipid, insipid to ABSOLUTE BOSS. Just my five cents of course! Thanks for starting a fun thread.
Couldn’t agree more. Even after all the crazy stuff goes down at the end of Episode III its just seems kind of hard to imagine Shion “settling down” to the extent that it seems Allen is probably hoping for …
