KOS-MOS is my favorite fictional character ever so of course I love all the renditions of Hepatic, especially Hepatica 3. I also love her original Episode 1 theme as well:

It’s so haunting, I love her other epic themes as well like Battling KOS-MOS or She’s Coming Back, but I always thought Hepatica and the earlier linked song really capture her character and the burden she bears
When you have to play that part in XS3 and the music was playing I got some serious chills.
this theme seriously makes me want to burst into tears whenever i hear it. it’s just that good. there’s something so nostalgic about it.
I’m not sure about the tracks in general.
I mean, I love a lot of them !
But as for the songs, I think that my favorite is the ending theme of Xenosaga - A Missing Year, which is called My long forgotten cloistered sleep (aka See-Saw), which I find really beautiful !

Kinda tend to go through phases but most of mine are honestly from Xenosaga and Xenoblade X surprisingly enough. That’s not to say anything bad about anything in gears or the other blade games at all. They all have a few standouts for me but I think I just tend to have a few more from the others I listen to more. Xenogears my fav is probably ‘The one who Bares Fangs at God’. Xenoblade 1 definitely the main theme. Xenoblade 2 is ‘Kingdom of Uraya’. XBX… well I know this one will sound weird but I’m kinda between Primordia Day theme and Melancholia which I am aware of how different they are. Saga is the hardest choice but also where my favorite would be. Probably Fatal Fight from II or Telos from III. I’m gonna have to say Fatal Fight. I tend to gravitate towards songs that are either heavily atmospheric (and mysterious usually) or things that are high octane ‘gonna sword punch you anime style’ bangers. Chanting just adds to the experience, plus Fatal Fight has a great beat in it which is what edges it slightly over Fate in III for me. So yeah, I guess that’s mine and the best explanation I can come up with as to why. Very tough question. Not sure there’s a song I dislike in the whole series, which I know isn’t a popular opinion lol.
I still keep Inner Space on my travel playlist because it’s nice and chill. Back in the day, (2002ish) I used to cue up XSI’s final dungeon so I could fall asleep to this song. [MEDIA=youtube]0KSqiatqfNc[/MEDIA]

This. Right here. Hands down, my absolute favorite song from the entire soundtrack, as well as my favorite Snowy Place In An RPG theme ever. God, I just… I can’t even express how much I love this track. It feels like no words I think of can do it justice.

KOS-MOS’ theme on the US commercial for EP1 is a big reason i got the game in the first place. And Assault #2 is a big part of why the end of the Old Miltia flashback, finally showing us the long-discussed and rarely seen doom of the planet, was absolutely perfect.
This song from EP1 has stayed with me for 2 decades, helped of course by Margulis’ speech but more than able to stand on its own. It is just…if Despair was to have a theme, this would be it.

Its a bit of a mundane choice, but the night theme for Valak Mountain has stuck with me in a way I wouldn’t have expected it to over so many other tracks. There’s something very pleasant and soothing about it, I guess.
