I thought I’d start a general thread for one of my favorite authors, apropos of I may have made an impromptu New Year’s resolution to reread his entire bibliography (almost typed Disc-ography, lol) but in chronological order this time. So far this month I’ve read the first three, up to Equal Rites. I’m actually missing the next one, and I think it might be the only Discworld book I haven’t read before, so I’m kind of excited for it.
I keep thinking about a post I saw on tumblr a few years after Terry Pratchett passed away, about how if he were still around to witness the general state of the world he’d probably have something really angry and brilliant to say about it, so my current coping mechanism for the uhhh gestures vaguely at the horrors is “Sir Terry, are you seeing this sh*t?”
