Albel here, nice to meet all of you! I’ve been dimly aware of Xeno in general ever since the PS2 days, and Saga was always something I had on my bucket list, for later.
I have a ton of things on my bucket list, and usually I’ll either push myself into finishing a game, or just drop it since I don’t have enough nostalgia for it to push past the jank.
Not so with Xenosaga! After playing through episode 1, I told myself I’d take a break before going into another rpg. That lasted all of one day before I came back from work and immediately started playing episode 2. Then the Pied Piper remake. Then watched After Year. And finally, 3.
But the drawback of playing such a massive series in 2026 is that there’s no one to talk about it to! But then I found that there was still an active old style forums about Xeno. So, here I am, hello!
