I am working on large scale improvements to the website.
This includes separating the “content” from the “forum” again, much like we had it in the old days.
I am doing this to make sure stuff is safe on different nodes and to also foster richer content and engagement. I’d like godsibb to be a venue for all manor of xeno/gaming/anime restoration and fan content.
So any suggestions that make the website friendlier to use are welcome. Please let me know what you would like to see. As I plan to migrate to entirely open source platforms I should be able to make modifications to the new code base as we need them.
Thanks for your patience and enthusiasm. I’m excited to keep working with everyone on game and internet restoration.
To this end - I am also seeking a bit of help.
If you know stuff about Linux, Web Design, Programming, or Cloud, of you would like to learn, hit me up. I am a professional working on LFCS and CKA certs but I don’t know everything and as I am working on scaling the website, could use an extra hand or at least another person who can be trusted with the keys if I am hit by a bus. I am looking to get a team together and it could be a great learning opportunity for anyone looking to get into tech as well.
If think this may be you, please reach out. I plan to do a wider application process for other staff such as mods on the new build soon, and that will get posted to the website formally known as Twitter so it actually circulates, but as I slowly keep working on this, I think the tech expansion has to come first.
Thanks y’all.
The only suggestion I currently have is, if it’s possible, it’d be really helpful to have an option to skip to the end of your post’s attached images if you have a bunch of them in a single post. Rather than having to single click spam the arrow for like a full minute in order to get to the end so that you can insert one that you just pasted in the body of the post as a thumbnail instead.
…I do this a lot in my thread listing all of the XG/XS magazines I’ve found lol
