I seem to be taking over this category with my threads
But yeah, initially this was what I wanted to do with the whole UMN idea initially but made it into a Discord server first because it was easier. But now I’ve decided to go ahead and try creating a website front for the server which’ll just be an easier place to find all the content and resources I’ve gathered on the Discord.
I’m also thinking of implementing the Community stuff I’ve tried to use my server for. So people who do prominent stuff related to Xeno games, whether it’s content creation or hosting other sites etc.
I’m also no expert at HTML in any way X) So this will take time and also not look “amazing” but I hope for it to be most importantly functional. Though responsiveness to mobile screens will be the biggest pain haha.
I plan on buying a proper domain for the site once it’s nearer to being 80% complete. Don’t want to promote this shell of a site too much right now haha.
Yeahh I rely a lot on W3Schools and random Stack Exchange threads, trying to make sure I keep the HTML clean so I know what’s going on X) And to have any help from webmasters would be great! I know I’ve spoken to Katimus before but it was a while ago and the website was just an idea by then. But if I find myself particularly stuck I’d love to ask for any help from people who know what they’re doing : D

I like the general layout and you’ve done a good job with the fluidity. I would use a more neutral color for text backgrounds and such, however. It is nice for readers when things have simpler colors and fewer fonts.
Let us know if you need webhosting. I could probably get you on a subdomain on our node if you need something more open than Neocities. It’s fairly easy for me to spin up a wordpress, etc. and I’ll host Xeno content like this for free, just shoot me a PM or hit me up on Discord if you’re interested in help.

I’ve sent a friend request over Discord cuz I’d like to have a chat about all that hosting stuff As well as any sort of comments you might have on the look of the site. I’ve worked on the website a bit but haven’t been updating the Neocities one so it does look a tiny bit different, but my plan has generally been to get most of the functions completed such as most of the resources (game logos, fonts, cutscene links, etc.) up and also make a start at uploading links to all the Xeno related sites I’ve found.

Frankly I’m doing too many projects, so things keep getting put on the back-burner
Anyway, to be honest I wasn’t too crazy about the previous layout. It wasn’t exactly what I wanted to go for, that being something inspired by Xenosaga 3’s menus (you can see parts of it on the current site but not much).
So I’ve made a mock of what I plan to make it look like now:
It looks really good on the outside, I’ll see if I get a chance to check it out later, it doesn’t seem like direct access to this site is available in China.
