This is a redraw from the Xenosaga’s anime credits roll. Although, Kirsch’s expression is very different from the show for some reason. I think my hand slipped.
Then again, I’ve had a few people comment on how emotive this piece was. So maybe that slip was worth it!
This is all done free-handedly. With a photo by my side. From time to time, I’d look over to take a glance before drawing all the facials. It’s not a traced piece. I’m not even good at tracing in the first place lmao. Gaignun was meant to appear in the middle but in the end I lazily drew him in. When it was all done I cropped him out of the final piece.

Totally agree, there are too many characters in XS that are ignored, like Kirsch, Almadel, etc., but they all have interesting stories!
