It was immediately locked (because it was believed to be AI) so it prevented any further discussion or possibility of anyone coming forward if they knew who it belonged to or if a possible legitimate artist wanted to ask it to be taken down.
My two cents are, as an artist, there’s really nothing beyond the skirt that stands out to me as it definitely being AI. The many compounding AI tells aren’t there. Ofc AI is getting better with certain things nowadays, and some pieces can be particularly hard to tell. But idk, I think I see some quick, messy lineart/sketch ends on the hair there, where one overlaps the other at the tip of the lock of hair; that detail gives me the impression its human made and that that’s the under-sketch/under-paint showing on one area with most of the refinement work ofc being focused on the main areas of interest.
Also, it would have to be trained on enough Elly art of her in that unused beta outfit in order to get the design of its collar and sleeves that close, I think. And I dont know if there’s enough fanart that’s been done of her in that outfit such that it’d be able to get that from a prompt. idk. Ive seen two fans color it white/blue and white/gold and Ive even drawn it myself with cream/red-brown (but just barely any of it from the side, so not even my art could’ve contributed much to the AI learning the design if it were scraped).
The only things that stand out to me as the biggest AI tells is the skirt fabric and certain little sections of the hair? but that’s only two factors and I’m unsure about the hair one.
Anyone wanting to do an alternate dress based on the beta design and the second Elehayym could’ve come up with this alternate design of a dress with the top like the beta design and the bottom a split front/back skirt. And though the skirt is very sus on its own, I usually need at least another couple tells to be really sure. unless its atrociously off.
