Hi there. I’m eff efferson the translator for the Tenchi Muyo fandoms novels and a Sumerian and Jewish occultism writer under the name Samuel Madisico.
(So expect a footnote on literally every biblical thing that shows up.)
I got bored, so I read the first volume of the xenosaga 2 novel off of archive . org and made a fancy PDF so now you can too.
The story starts by covering Jr’s daily encephelon dive mission on miltia, then goes all the way to the end of Momo waking back up after the Sakura dive. From what I can tell it has a bit of expanded backstory sections not featured fully in game.
I gave an eta of a month, but it took me 6 days and a few hours of watching youtube to brush up on the FMVs (cause I only beat part 1 and gave up early in part 2).
you can read it here or on Archive.org the link below lets you make suggested edits to it though because I am just one person and make sloppy editing mistakes from time to time.
anyone is free to do whatever with the translation as far as hosting it, modifying it editorialy for Grammer and stylization.
Thank you all for being so welcoming and nice to me. I am used to going into old fandoms dropping free translations and getting hate because I have a spelling error or two or because I use translation tools to speed things up. Of course that hate is from basement dwelling chuds who can’t even read one language let alone two, so I’m not bothered. But I am delighted to not be immediately inundated with hostility for doing for free what people have to pay thousands to get done in 100x the time.
